Learn What's Important: Power

When most negotiations training courses focus on scenarios and "if this happens, then you do that", our course goes beyond those. We go back to the very starting point of thinking and reacting even before you sit down at the negotiations table.
Do you feel you want to learn the psychological skills needed in a crisis intervention?

Learn by Practising: Initiative

Practice. Negotiations training is like Legos - you can build anything you like as long as you have a general idea and the ability to build step-by-step, always on the lookout for possibilities to build something extra, something that will make your structure/conversation remarkable and effective.

This course can be superbly combined with the course: Negotiation Skills for guys.

What you will learn

Female psychology in intense interactions

How women may fall into their own traps
Rationality, beliefs, imitating men and positivity may stand in the way of a woman to achieve high performance in negotiations.
  • Departing from rationality
  • Imitating men: egocentrism & exaggeration

  • Belief perseverance: too much unethicality
  • Positive mood, agreeableness and extraversion

Women on top

Gender stereotypes in negotiations & how to overcome them
Experience matters in negotiations, and women have plenty of hidden, unconscious experience.
  • Men and women are not alike. Accept it.
  • How to develop accurate perceptions for opportunities
  • The hidden experience of women in negotiations

  • Antipathy & empathy: what they are and how to use them

Obfuscation & Power in negotiations

women-focused skills
Language plays a huge role in negotiations and since power is situational, most women can turn the tables with specific skills - as long as there is an open mind.
  • Impression management: turning the tables
  • Language and deception: breaking the deception spiral
  • Is politically incorrect language useful?
  • Power and the counterfeit self

Strategies for success

Four linguistic & psychological tactics
These strategies can be used by women and men alike. However, it has been seen that women fare better at all four.
  • Persuasion, social influence and value-based decision making
  • When to be abstract and when to be concrete
  • The exhausting vicious cycle of deception
  • Applied common sense for crisis management

Pamela has a unique approach to negotiations. When she negotiates, you can hardly tell she is doing so and that is her competitive advantage. Under her guidance, I managed to raise my turnover by 30% when dealing merch on tours - among other great outcomes.

We met through our corporate contract and from the first sessions we had, I realized that in certain cases I was able to see people and conditions around me, but only behind a blurred glass.
You were there, the one who helped me clear the glass, understand and accept how others see myself, no matter what I know about myself and skills. Understanding others is a basic step towards better communication, but understanding ourselves comes as a prerequisite to that.
This is the right time to express not only my warmest thanks, but also the fact that I really admire you. Don’t wonder why…
You are one among the few people I met so far, who has the talent to build a feeling of trust out of nothing, in a relationship that did not exist the day before. Trust is a magic feeling which makes things easier, more effective processes, more optimal results to our efforts. Imagine the world without trust: no family bonds, no real friendships, no strong relationships, no corporate morality, no ethnic sense.

Pamela you have the ability to build feelings of trust, and this acts as a canvas on which the coachee starts to paint with the colors he has in his palette: emotional intelligence, sensitivity, perception ability, life experiences, feelings of love and understanding for others, etc.

Today I honestly feel richer because I had the luck to work with you on my personal development.

Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions For the Course:
Negotiation Skills for Ladies

FAQ 1   Does The Course Offer Practical Advice I Can Apply To My Work, Relationships, And Personal Life?

Negotiation Skills is a course that may offer practical tips on how to deal with certain situations that require good negotiation skills. However, we do not offer scenarios. Instead, we train you in skills that will help you assess the situation more accurately and apply the theory in the best way. Let's not forget: practice makes perfect.

FAQ 2   Is This Course Only For Women?

No, anyone can purchase this course regardless of their sexual orientation, gender or identity. This course can help anyone understand how ladies usually negotiate, so it could be an added benefit to attend both courses relevant to guys and gals. It will be much easier to read them and read the room in a more beneficial way.

FAQ 3   Do You Have Any Particular Negotiations Framework?

Although it would have been very easy for us to come up with a framework and join many other progammes that do so, we are keen believers in the human wit and its speed to make the right decision under pressure. This is what we mostly focus on: your ability to read people and the room, as accurately as possible and respond appropriately and negotiate when in a crisis.

FAQ 4    How Much Time Will I Need To Commit To The Course?

The four units of this course total approximately 3 hours in length. You'll want to spread these out according to your schedule - but if you commit a short amount of time in your mornings or evenings, you should be able to complete everything each Unit offers within a week. While studying for the course, you're encouraged to revisit your lessons and engage in discussions with the community. An estimated 3-5 hours per weeks for the entire commitment should be sufficient (video tutorials, e-books, external resources, assignments, engaging with the community).

FAQ 5    How Do I Become A VIP Member? What Are The Benefits?

You can become a VIP member if you purchase three courses (including while having a discount or are part of a bundle) AND are an active member of the community. Check the FAQs on the home page for more details on this because you even get to apply for free 1-0-1 coaching with Pamela!

FAQ 6    Do I Need Any Prior Academic Knowledge Before Studying The Course?

The Negotiation Skills course is accessible to anyone regardless of qualifications and academic background. What would be an added value is the opportunity to be in an environment to apply what you learn in practice.

FAQ 7    How Is The Course Different From Pamela's Free YouTube Videos?

Pamela's YouTube videos offer fragments of teachings and tips. They may give you some of the learnings related to negotiation skills, but they're not a complete and structured experience. This course gives you the tools, resources, and community you need to absorb and apply your learnings in the fastest, most efficient way.

FAQ 8    Is There A Time Limit To How Long I Can Study And Re-Study The Course?

CoachGo offers you lifetime access. However, you may want to revisit the materials often as we may refresh the materials and you may find yourself in situations where your negotiation skills might need a boost.
